5.0 out of 5 stars: #1 Book for Landing a Job Quicker in the New Economy
By Carl E. Reid
I have read this book several times. It's a very timely resource, since companies are being more selective about hiring people. Win the Race for 21st Century Jobs fills in the gap where colleges and MBA programs don't teach. Running your career as a CEO of ME, Inc. business, which is the theme of the book is the only way for people to survive in today's economy. I have even used the 7 step job search explained in the book to acquire new clients, as an entrepreneur. This mini business plan definitely works.
Rod Colon does a great job in fining tuning networking skills to develop a network people willing to help with a job search or business development.
This book is not just a great read 1 time. It's a reference manual to insure a person can create options for continuous career management. These days every job is temporary. This is a great career management survival manual for all business professionals.
